Erik van Veenendaal – CEO

Erik van Veenendaal ( – former vice president of the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) – is a leading international consultant and trainer, and a recognized expert in the area of software testing and requirement engineering. He is the author of a number of books and papers within the profession, one of the core developers of the TMap testing methodology, a participant in working parties of the International Requirements Engineering Board (IREB). He is one of the founding members of the TMMi Foundation, the lead developer of the TMMi model and currently leading the TMMi and Agile project. Erik is a frequent keynote and tutorial speaker at international testing and quality conferences. For his major contribution to the field of testing, Erik received the European Testing Excellence Award (2007) and the ISTQB International Testing Excellence Award (2015).

Meile Posthuma – Secretary

Meile has worked most of his career at an international financial organization where he did many test consultancy assignments including test process improvement. Since January 2007 Meile was a test advisor at a consultancy firm and since September 2016 working in a hospital as a test coordinator and setting up the test organization. Meile is active in the field of testing since 1996. He holds the ISEB Foundation and Practitioner certificates and is a certified ISTQB and CAT trainer. From 1997 active in TestNet, a Dutch testing association, and has been member of the board for 8 years till 2011. From 2002 till now board member of BNTQB 8 years as chair (member board of ISTQB) and active in many local and international working parties. Since 2010 secretary at the TMMi Foundation.

Geoff Thompson – TMMi Professional / TMMi Local Chapters

Geoff is one of the founder members of the TMMi Foundation; he is focused on improving the way we test and sees TMMi as a direct influence in this goal. As a the UK Managing Director of Planit Ltd he encourages all of his clients to improve the way they work. He is a founder member of the International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB) and is currently the Chairman of The UK Testing Board. He co-authored the bestselling Software Testing book on – BCS book Software Testing – An ISTQB foundation. He is also is Vice Chairperson for the BCSSIGIST. In 2008 Geoff was awarded the European Testing Excellence Award, and in 2015 he was also awarded the Software Testing Lifetime Achievement Award.

Clive Bates – Accreditation Chair

Clive has over 25 years of testing experience across many different industry sectors. He holds many years of accreditation experience having held the position of Chair of Accreditation with the UKTB since it was formed and with the BCS Software Testing board for many years before that. He is also actively involved with the ISTQB Process Management and Compliance working group as vice chair.
Clive is a TMMi Lead assessor and has conducted a substantial number of formal and informal assessments around the world since 2009. He continues to present on TMMi and other key testing topics at various conferences internationally. He has also developed and regularly delivers the TMMi professional course, TMMi assessor and lead assessor courses as well as being an accredited ISTQB trainer.

Peter Morgan – Accreditation Vice Chair

Peter is an ISTQB accredited tester who has experience of many aspects of the traditional full life cycle (e.g., reviews, inspections, system test, user acceptance test, interface testing, usability testing and a number of different flavours of Agile development methodologies). He has experience over various hardware / software / business sectors, having worked long-term on a contract basis (where he encountered many examples of good and bad practices). Peter was one of the first to sit and pass the second-stage testing qualification in 2002, and has been involved in the accreditation and exam processes for testers for over 10 years. He therefore brings a wide experience of assessing both the material of companies, and the qualifications (practical and certificate-based) of individuals within these companies. Until retiring from full-time work in 2014, Peter regularly attended UK and European software testing conferences, where he was an occasional speaker

Matthias Rasking – Technical Stream

Matthias Rasking is a Principal Director within Accenture’s Advanced Technology & Architecture practice, which focuses on Software Engineering methods and processes. He leads the Testing platform for Austria, Switzerland, Germany and Russia and looks after testing capability development across Europe, Latin America and Africa. He also supports the ISO/IEC Working Group 26 on formulating and enhancing ISO 29119 and 21246 standards for software testing and work product reviews. He has been working in several large scale Information Technology and Process Improvement projects in Europe. He is a certified expert in the area of Software and Service Delivery processes and frameworks, holding ITIL, TMMi and CMMI certifications. He has spoken at several industry conferences on Testing and is an accredited TMMI Lead Assessor.

Rogier Ammerlaan – Technical Support

Rogier is an experienced Test Manager/Coordinator and -Consultant with 20 years experience in the financial banking and technical automation industry working for a number of Dutch and International companies. Rogier worked in a number of roles (e.g. testmanager, -consultant, -teamlead). Rogier is ISTQB and Prince 2 practitioner qualified and is specialized in test process improvement (TPI and TMMi) in both the administrative as technical automation, and in developing complex test strategies. Rogier has been a certified trainer for software testing, , agile, business analyses and requirements management.
